Beyond Blessed!

Wow, what a great Christmas!  We began our Christmas by visiting Chicago with my grandparents, parents, and sisters.  We enjoyed many nice meals, shopping, a hotel on the magnificent mile, and to see the Rockettes:)  It was beyond wonderful.  Just watching the girls faces during the show was great.  They both watched every second of the show and when it was over Ellie's response was "more".  Both of the girls visited the American Girl store in Chicago.  Isabella picked out her first American Girl doll and Ellie her first Bitty Baby.  Isabella, Charles, Meme, and I also had breakfast at the American Girl cafe on Sunday.  Isabella LOVED it.  Her doll, Lilly loved it too!
We left Chicago on Sunday, stopped by to visit the Geller's on the way home and then got tucked in pretty late.  We were all worn out.  We enjoyed our church service on Christmas Eve.  We participated in two at our church as Charles played trumpet and I sang.  We then went to Mom and Dads for the annual get together.  We had SO much yummy food.
On Christmas day, Charles and I woke early to get ready for our busy day.  The girls got up around 7:30 to begin the day.  They were beyond excited to see what Santa had brought them.  Isabella received a globe she has been wanting for a long time as well as her first digital camera. Ellie, received the Bitty Baby changing table, a tunnel, sleeping bag, and much more....
After opening Santa, we headed over to the Geller's for a yummy brunch prepared by Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Michelle.  We opened more presents and shared more family time.
For dinner we headed back to my parents for their present opening and dinner.  This year on the menu was lobster and teriyaki.
We stayed in Fort Wayne for the rest of the week as Charles was very busy laying hardwood floors in my parents house.  He is the jack of all trades for sure.  It looks so great and my Mom is so proud of it.
We are so blessed with such great family.  Our girls are so special to us and make our life complete.  Happy New Year, may it be the best yet!
