We are beginning our Valentines celebrations a little early. Charles and I went out for our Valentine's Dinner Saturday night while my parents kept the kids. I can't remember the last time him and I went out alone and had time to just talk. It was GREAT!! We ended the date with a trip to Debrands:) We shared a sundae and then picked out our own Valentines chocolates. We are so practical in that way. We know what we would get each other so we might as well buy it then instead of making two more seperate trips to the chocolate shop!
Today is Isabella's school Valentines party. She is so excited. We baked cupcakes this morning for the party. As you see from the pictures, Ellie really enjoyed it too!
We have to prepare things in advance since we are never home on the weekends, so we made her Valentines treat bags last week. We also gave her teachers cups with a special stirring straw and raspberry lemondade packets to have a special drink in their special cups!
Isabella and Ellie are doing great!!! Isabella is reading now:) It is so exciting for me. She is also writing. She can pretty much sound everything out. We can read it for the most part. Sometimes she does give us a little help. She is a sponge right now. She remembers everything we tell her and remembers FOREVER! You can't get anything past her.
Ellie is amazing. She is changing so much right now. She is down to one nap a day. She has about 10 teeth, eats anything you or I would eat, and is saying new words all of the time. Her favorites right now are all gone, and eye. She loves to poke your eye out while saying eye. It is pretty cute. We have videos of her saying Mama months ago but she will not call me by name. She calls Charles Dada all of the time. I know it is coming but it is hard to wait! A few pics from our Valentines Day!
